This role ensures that events are planned and executed smoothly by supporting the event teams and maximising attendance across the club. The coordinator will work with the club committee to maintain standards for events and provide feedback on how things can be improved.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Help organise and coordinate social events across the club, ensuring that event teams are in place and have the support they need.
Team Support: Act as the point of contact for event teams, ensuring they’re properly staffed and equipped to run events successfully.
Standardisation: Help ensure that events maintain a consistent level of quality and align with the club’s values.
Feedback and Reporting: Provide the club committee with updates on the status of events, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Event Promotion: Assist in promoting events to members in a timely way, encouraging participation and engagement.
Committee Meetings: Attend monthly committee meetings to update the board on upcoming events and provide coordination support.
Volunteer Support: Assist in coordinating volunteers for events and ensure teams have the necessary resources.
Post-Event Review: Help gather feedback after each event to assess outcomes and suggest improvements for future activities.
This is a flexible, volunteer-based role that allows you to support the club’s social activities without requiring a major time commitment. It's perfect for someone who enjoys organising behind the scenes and working with others to create positive experiences for our cricket community.
