The Head Coach will speak to each Captain following the completion of all fixtures by Sunday afternoon.
Based on the match reports indicating both performance and game day attitudes, alongside player availabilities, the Head Coach will send suggested teams to all Selectors by Monday afternoon.
This will enable Selectors to discuss or request changes with the Head Coach on Tuesday after training or by phone/email.
Final teams will be circulated to Captains by midday Wednesday – this will enable Captains to discuss or request changes. After Thursday night training gather their team together and start the preparation for the weekend.
Players who have been dropped for reasons of form will be spoken to by the Head Coach at training on Thursday.
It is also important to recognise players who have been performing well but were unable to be promoted to a higher XI. These players will also be spoken to by the Head Coach and encouraged to persevere, continue to enjoy their cricket, and understand that their performances have not gone unnoticed.
It is our intention to play 12 players in the 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th XI – subject to numbers available.
Teams will then be announced, posted on Facebook, and entered onto required platform.
Players who feel they may have been unfairly dropped or not selected at the level they deserve, will be given the opportunity to discuss the matter privately with the Head Coach if they need more clarification.
